OUR CLASSES are designed with the goal of our students ”Having Fun” while learning and creating their own dancing style and personality." Additionally, each student is allowed to learn at his or her own pace, which allows them to adequately and firmly grasp the concepts. We strive to provide our students with a caring, supportive and fun environment. We combine private lessons, group classes and demonstrations to help our students learn as easily as possible.
"Private lessons provide the students with personal attention, while our group classes provide great structured repetition with a variety of dance partners. Students rotate partners, better enabling them to adapt to dancing with people with different levels of experience and to develop their leading/following skills. Students have an opportunity to put everything they learn into action and have fun dancing. This is, after all, the whole point of taking dance classes!
Our Thursday Classes are 2 hours long: The first hour consists of soul line dancing and the second hour Steppin' which focuses on dynamic turn patterns for all levels (beginner, intermediate or advanced).
The Steppin’ Phenomenon is also looked at as a fitness alternative. Combined with great music, this high intensity/low impact dancing keeps one's feet moving and the body feeling fit. It's great for burning fat and cardio-pumping, while still having fun.
